Cotton fabrics are light and loosely woven fabrics. Accordingly, cotton fabric absorbs moisture well and carries the heat out of the body, keeping the person cooler. Clothing made of cotton fabric, which adapts to all weather conditions, keeps the person cool in summer and warm in winter. With this aspect, cotton fabric prevents sweating while protecting the skin.
Cotton wool generally hold dye well. Cotton fabrics, which are a natural and useful fabric, can easily wrinkle. Cotton fabrics should be pre-treated before washing. Bleached cotton fabrics may shrink when washed. Exposure to mold and sunlight also disrupts the structure of cotton fabric. Cotton fabrics may be more durable when wet than when dry. Easily soiled cotton fabric can also be easily cleaned.
